(*) With the latest version of SAP Screen Personas 3.0 SP06, any transaction can run on mobile devices, however, SAP is still validating and gradually announcing official support for transactions. In all these events, and also amongst all the SAP customers that I have worked with, the first question everyone asked me has always been the same: does SAP Screen Personas run on smartphones and tablets? Until near the end of 2017, the answer to that was: No, but even then there were already countless things that could be done with it to improve the experience and make it easier for people using SAP ERP on desktops and notebooks. But in December 2017, along with Screen Personas 3.0 SP06 launch, SAP finally announced a new technology called Slipstream Engine. With Slipstream Engine, Screen Personas “magically” gained the ability to make the SAP S/4HANA or ECC screens “responsive”. It means that now when using SAP Screen Personas, the screens can be correctly displayed and are usable through tablet and smartphones using touch interfaces. So, yes, now you can use SAP Screen Personas to make existing ERP’s desktop transactions available to your company’s tablets and smartphones. And, also, you can make these transactions much simpler when you use the features of Screen Personas to automate the tasks your users need to manually perform every day. Finally, almost everything you build using Screen Personas will run on smartphones and tablets, and on desktops or notebooks running SAP GUI for Windows or SAP GUI for Java. If you any questions please visit our contact page to connect with us directlyPosition Title: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Long Island City, NY JetBlue Airlines Full Time Employment Brief Summary: Full Time role at Long Island City Individual Contributor role reporting to the GM of SAP CoE Resource should have experience around HR, MM and FICO Should have worked on Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service Experience with Web Dynpro is a must SAP 6.0 or HANA is desirable Detailed Position Summary Developer Applications SAP (ABAP) is responsible for maintaining and developing the systems that have been configured with SAP modules, using ABAP 4 (Advanced Business Application Programming As a member of the IT Corporate Products team, the ABAP developer is responsible for working with technology and business analysts to provide solutions consistent with the company''s strategic direction and computing platform standards; and for making functional additions to the SAP system as mandated by business processes. Essential Responsibilities Responsible for the creation or modification of several objects by coding, unit testing and documenting business application programs, and assisting in the analysis and correction of application program processing errors in a live production environment. Transform business function requirements into technical program specs and code, unit test and debug SAP programs. Responsible for technical program definition, design, coding, unit testing, performance testing, debugging and technical documentation of SAP RICEF Objects. Integrate SAP with Third party systems. Perform Data Migration using LSMW and BDC methods. Develop custom modules within SAP using ABAP 4 and other related tools such as ABAP Workbench tools, Menu Painter, Screen Painter, Module pool programming, including SAPScript, Smartforms and Adobe forms for Form printing and cross application components to implement business rules in the SAP system. Effectively modify and integrate SAP Development objects, respond to and correct production problems. Develop WebDynpro ABAP applications for Self-services portal. Work under the direct supervision of the Development Manager to initiate change requests for SAP ECC to support business rule changes and enhance system functionality as required to support tactical business related to SAP HCM, FI\CO, and MM. Develop and maintain an understanding of company business needs and objectives; and translate user requirements into program code. Serve as a resource to Functional Analysts, Business users and Basis Administrators. Utilize structured methodologies to support tasks. Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications Bachelor s Degree and/or demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through four (8) previous years of experience and education (8+) years hand-on SAP ABAP Development Experience. Experience with at-least one Full cycle Implementation. Experience with development in HCM and FI, CO modules. Experience with development of interfaces to and from SAP utilizing various interface methods and middleware systems. Experience with Customer Exits, User Exits, BADI s and Enhancement Framework. Experience with Object Oriented Programming, BAPI s, ALE\EDI. Experience with data migration using LSMW and BDC methods. Experience with SAP scripts, Smartforms and Adobe forms. Available for occasional overnight travel (5%) Experience with WebDynpro ABAP. Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located Preferred Experience and Qualifications Experience with SAP Enterprise Portal, Employee & Manager Self Services Knowledge and understanding of ABAP development on HANA Design and development experience with SAP Fiori Experience with ODATA services.
